Language Arts Sing-Sations is a workshop designed to teach language arts through music and rhythm. Teachers will learn how music can make learning language arts easier to retain, transfer, and apply. Teachers will also learn how to address teaching students' language arts content vocabulary. Language Arts Sing-Sations will teach the following concepts: four types of writing, antonyms, synonyms and homonyms, facts and opinions, finding subjects and verbs, different kinds of sentences, literary terms, the parts of speech, prefixes, suffixes, and root words, pronouns and antecedents, sentences, fragments, and run-ons, similes, metaphors, and hyperboles, the structure of sentences, and, subject and verb agreement. .
