The Mark Writing Method is a workshop that teaches a step by step method of composition writing. This methodology includes teaching the narrative, descriptive, expository, and persuasive writing. The components include metacognition, outlining, varied sentence structure, advanced vocabulary, similes, metaphors, hyperboles, specificity and composition completion.

TEACHER OBJECTIVES:

• To utilize the Mark Writing Method in composition writing instruction
• To utilize the Mark Teaching Method n teaching narrative, descriptive, expository, and persuasive writing.

• Teachers will utilize the Mark Writing Method to teach composition writing.
• Teachers will go through the steps in the Mark Writing Method to teach narrative, descriptive, expository, and persuasive writing.
• Teachers will facilitate student-created written assignments.
