Audra Wells Mark
Audra Wells Mark is presently an educational consultant, trainer, and curriculum developer for her company New Innovations. She is also a former staff developer for the School District of Broward County and a former Palm Beach County public school teacher. Audra saw that totally traditional methods were not working with her students. She created her own method of teaching information. She taught ESOL and ESE inclusion students. Her class' average was higher than those of the school, the county, and the state.
She decided to create her own educational programs. Her school programs now encompass elementary school, middle school, and high school. Mrs. Mark also has a variety of strategies and programs for adult learners. One of her newest programs involves managerial training in the corporate setting. Her programs are a combination of brain research strategies, study skills, arts-integration techniques, and accelerated techniques.
Audra has been a facilitator for staff development at different venues across the country and abroad. She has been a guest speaker at national and international conferences and she has trained at the university level. Audra has developed programs to assist teachers in passing composition writing and in passing general knowledge examinations. Nurses, firefighters, mortgage brokers, and a variety of other professionals have been assisted in passing board examinations. Audra is available to assist schools and educational centers with professional development and an integration of brain-based strategies throughout the school. New Innovations also provides coaching at the school centers to keep the programs operating at their optimal level.
